I just realized how long its been since I wrote a journal entry... So here's an update for anyone who actually cares...

In December I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor's in Animal Science, and I'm currently working on getting my Master's in Agriculture.

I've been working on my Novel, currently entitled 'The Wizard of Temuria', and I hit the 200 page mark just the other day, and I still have a lot to go. But I've been keeping myself on track, and I've actually been doing paintings of some of my favorite scenes as I go.

Well that's about it....

So sweeeet, i just bought a Akita Inu x Husky pup, and she is soooo sweet.

I read Akitas have sutch strong personalitys, so im curious how my puppy is gonna be like. Can you tell me a lill bit more about yours ?

Sorry I'm just getting back to you on this. But I just saw the message. Akita's are really protective, they're quite characters. Probably around the time she's 8 months old you'll really notice her personality kick in. They love their people and will get lonely when you leave them home alone. They also like to hold hands (they take your hand in their mouth very gently and follow you around or lead you somewhere). There's a lot more, but half the fun of having an akita is learning about their quirky traits as they kick in. Like recently Miko has begun to recognize the sounds of different engines, so she knows when someone pulls up infront of the house, if its either one of us or someone she doesn't know.
